I was born and live in Chianti, precisely in Vagliagli, a spectacular hamlet perched on one of the countless rolling hills in the heart of the Tuscan region. I studied cultural anthropology at the University of Siena and chose, more than a decade ago, to accompany groups on hiking trips through my beloved lands. My passion is nature, I consider myself a self-taught naturalist but I'm so curious and open minded that I'm always on the brink to learn something new. Working with students has been very helpful... my favorite are children since they always seem to ask the appropriate question at the appropriate time: I’m sure I learned more than I ever taught. I feel so lucky because my job is also my passion: accompanying people on foot through Tuscany is so rewarding and helps me look at the world through other peoples eyes. My goal is to learn how to play the violin. Who knows? Maybe one day I’ll be able to play it for you immersed in some magnificent environment!
